WayCool Software keeps backups for 35 days timestamped to the millisecond. This allows us to restore data to any point in time in the past 35 days. These are our first line of backups for support of the most common types of issues that would require a reload of specific data.
5 weeks of Weekly Backups
WayCool Software keeps the first day of every week for 5 weeks.
Monthly Backups
WayCool Software keeps monthly backups for 6 months.
Yearly Backups
WayCool Software keeps yearly backups for 10 years.
Replicas
Our data center keeps 1 primary version of the database along with 2 secondary synced in case of a local emergency or hardware failure. This is managed by Microsoft to ensure high reliability.
Backups are used for disaster recovery purposes, meaning something major happened at our data centers and had to be restored. This covers major natural disasters at a data center. This is also a requirement for HIPAA compliance.
